Julius Ceasar

My name is Julius Ceasar. I was born in Rome to an Aurelia and Gaius Julius Ceasar, a praetor. My family had noble, patrician roots, although they were neither rich nor influential in this period. My father died, and a few years later I was betlothed and possibly married to a wealthy young woman, Cossutia.
I, on the staff of a military legate, and I was awarded the civic crown(oak leaves) for saving the life of a citizen in battle.
